Sports podcast network Locked On is adding to its extensive sports roster with NHL coverage. Shows will feature podcasts covering almost two dozen NHL teams. The hockey lineup joins Locked On’s NBA, NFL, MLB and college team shows which also feature daily, short-form podcasts covering the biggest stories, hosted by team experts and insiders.
Locked On Founder and CEO, David Locke said, “We are thrilled to offer NHL fans the in- depth podcasts that our basketball, football and baseball listeners have come to rely on. Hockey fans have often felt underserved by mainstream sports outlets and we will be there for them every day.” The network’s NHL launch includes local Locked On shows for the Blackhawks, Bruins, Canadiens, Canucks, Capitals, Coyotes, Devils, Ducks, Flyers, Golden Knights, Hurricanes, Kings, Maple Leafs, Oilers, Penguins, Rangers, Sabres and Sharks, with more team podcasts being added weekly over the NHL season.
In addition, Locked On is launching two league-wide podcasts, Locked On NHL and Locked On Fantasy Hockey.
