Libsyn has unveiled the beta version of its new all-in-one podcast creator and advertising platform called Libsyn Connect.
The platform is a browser-based collaboration tool that helps creators produce high-quality recordings remotely. The new tool will debut at Libsyn’s booth at the Podcast Expo from Thursday to Sunday at the Renaissance Orlando at Sea World.
“We’ve doubled down on our innovation investments and our platform strategy is paying off, with the scaling of our advertising business, international expansion, and enhancements to cutting-edge tools for creators and advertisers,” John W. Gibbons, the president and chief product officer of Libsyn, said in a statement. “We’re delivering on our mission to unlock the creative potential of the full spectrum of podcasters – from independents to established creators —by empowering them to bring their diverse voices to life, grow their audiences, and monetize their shows, with ease from a single destination.”
Libsyn Connect allows creators to remotely produce multitrack recordings, which the company says will save time and produce greater flexibility and control during editing and post-production. It also includes a built-in chat feature, which allows creators, production staff and interview subjects to have off-mic conversations, as well as the option to record from a mobile device for those who need field recording abilities.
