Solid Gold Podcast Studios shared how one of the world’s youngest podcasters started her new show The Limelight with Layyah Rasdien at age 9. She was influenced by her dad, comedian Joey Rasdien, but came up with her own purpose statement and interviewed him on the spot.
Her purpose statement was also how she started the first episode, “Welcome to The Limelight Podcast where I talk to people from the entertainment industry about how they became successful so that you can learn from them and reach your goal.”
Layyah was in studio with her dad and told the executives at Solid Gold she wanted to make a podcast. They asked her a few questions and she completed those along with a purpose statement and wrote out some questions for her first interview.
The first episode is only five minutes and features this delightful exchange between father and daughter, “Are you going to call me dad for this episode? Yes, I am.”
