Deep Cover: The Real Donnie Brasco is set to release season three today. Actor Leo Rossi, retired FBI Agent Joe ”Donnie Brasco” Pistone, and Jam Street Media are teaming up for a season called “Donnie’s Tapes.” All season Joe and Leo will be going over the actual tapes that Joe carried while undercover for six years with the mafia as Donnie Brasco.
The tapes were recently found by Joe and then remastered by Jam Street Media.
For the first time, the show will also offer a subscription plan for fans from Supercast featuring access to all the remastered tapes, the video podcasts of the show, AMA’s with Joe and Leo, and commercial-free audio.
“I haven’t heard these tapes and conversations since they were recorded and played in trials,” Pistone stated, “I can’t believe how good these tapes sound and it’s a walk down memory lane hearing my conversations with guys like Lefty Ruggerio and Sonny Black.
