A press release from the new organization says the group seeks “to bring together the podcast community and to support and accelerate the growth and success of every individual and organization within podcasting by offering a place for community support, training, resources, best practices, local events calendars, discounts, news, and industry representation.”
The mission of the IPA: “To help increase the lifespan and success of all podcasts and podcast careers. Members of the International Podcast Association include independent and professional podcast hosts and producers, service providers, software developers, and equipment manufacturers from around the world.
