On Monday iHeartRadio announced that its database of podcasts has gone over the 250,000 mark. The iHeartRadio podcast listening library includes partnerships with Will Ferrell, Joe Rogan, Anna Farris, Dax Shepherd, Chelsea Handler and others.

With 700,000 shows in the Blubrry Podcast directory and only 120,000 of them having posted an episode in the last 90 days with 200k shows having posted an episode in the last year. The bigger question to ask iHeart is how many of those shows are actually active.
