On Air Fest’s On Air Residency is an initiative that supports audio innovation and experimentation by emerging artists and storytellers. Here are the details and how to apply.

Artists and storytellers experimenting with audio will have an opportunity to spend five nights at The Wythe Hotel in Brooklyn while they create new audio artworks for On Air Fest. Showcased at the hotel from February 28th through March 3rd, the four-day festival explores the future of sound, audio, and podcasting.

The deadline to apply is January 17, 2019.

On Air Fest brings audio fans and creators together to explore the art of sound through performances, conversations, listening parties, art installations, live podcasts, and more. Tina Brown, Jenna Wortham of The New York Times’ Still Processing, U.S. poet laureate Tracy K. Smith, and Missing Richard Simmons creator Dan Taberski are among the headliners of On Air Fest 2019.
