“Hillsong: A Megachurch Exposed” is the companion podcast to the three-part Discovery+ documentary, “Hillsong: Megachurch Shattered”. The investigative seven-part program which follows the alleged exploitation, abuse, and cover-ups at the hands of the polarizing Hillsong Church.
The podcast is hosted by documentary creator Dan Johnstone and a former Hillsong NYC staffer. The program picks up where the documentary left off; with conversations of victims and defectors who have come forward as a result of the documentary.
The first episode in the series is set to be released on October 13.
