Steve Garrett owns a 2014 C7 Corvette, he’s the President of the Corvette Club of Kansas City and he’s the MC and DJ at one of the largest Corvette weekends in the country called Corvette FunFest in Illinois. When he realized there were no podcasts about the hot rod he loved, he went for it.
CORVETTE TODAY is a weekly podcast that comes out every Monday. Steve started his podcast in mid-April, amidst the pandemic. Every other week he does a show on news & headlines from the world of Corvette. “There is so much going on with the launch of the new Mid Engine C8 Corvette (8th generation). Then, on the off weeks, I interview prominent people in the Corvette industry.”
Steve tells PBJ he’s been on the radio in Kansas City for 43 years. “So my podcast is formatted and structured like a radio show. It’s edited to take out the long pauses, all of the “uhm’s” and “ahh’s”…..all the double words and triple words. I’ve coined a phrase called “Listener Fatigue.” This is why I edit CORVETTE TODAY so well-so there is no “Listener Fatigue.”
