Justin Goodrum and Matt Thomas have been friends since middle school and share a bond over the game of basketball. In 2013 they created a podcast covering college basketball and the NBA. The podcast went on hiatus in 2016 but inspired by the documentary The Last Dance, the hosts relaunched the podcast under the name Hoopsology in 2020.
April will mark one-year anniversary of the re-launch and during that period the show has featured journalists from NBCSports, The Athletic, ESPN, authors, Emmy award-winning director Zak Levitt, NBA TV Host Ben Lyons, and Cari Champion.
The future of Hoopsology includes additional video content on YouTube, live streams, and more exclusive interviews."
