The Guardian reports that the market value of UK podcast producer AudioBoom has tripled in the last year as their growth in ad revenue, which reached a record 26.8 million in 2020, is far outpacing the US market.
They attribute this growth to the enhanced demand for content during lockdowns and believe it will continue for the foreseeable future.
Audioboom announced the Rain Wilson fiction podcast series Dark Air earlier in the month.
