A major story by the New York Times reveals how the low barrier to entry afforded by Google Podcasts as well as their hands-off approach to content moderation has allowed hate speech, conspiracy theories, and pro-Nazi groups a voice in podcasting even though none of these shows appear on the other major platforms Apple Podcasts, Spotify or Stitcher.

One may not like the speech these groups put out, but they have every right to be heard. It’s called Free Speech.
