Brat, the Gen Z network behind hit shows like “Chicken Girls” and “Zoe Valentine,” is partnering with ART19 to create original Podcasts. Brat will release three original series, set in and around the “Brat Universe.”
Brat, launched in 2017, is a destination for young millennials and Gen Z viewers. The Los Angeles-based company has garnered over 4.5 billion minutes of watch time on its YouTube channel. Featuring popular teen stars like Anna Cathcart, Annie LeBlanc and Mackenzie Ziegler, Brat counts more than 11 million unique viewers each quarter. In July, Brat announced a partnership with MGM to develop original projects for film and T.V.
The first show to air, “Attaway Appeal,” will be a reboot of an earlier Brat series about the school newspaper.
Additional series will include both scripted and hosted formats.
