Radiotopia from PRX  announced the launch of season two of Passenger List, the audio drama podcast starring Kelly Marie Tran (The Last Jedi) that tries to solve the mystery of “what happened to flight 702?”

The series is about Katlin Le––played by Kelly Marie Tran exploring the mystery of the disappearance of flight 702 that her brother was on. Along the way she gets tipped off by a mystery informant and is caught up in a web of intrigue.

Directed by Peabody Award winner John Scott Dryden, Passenger List was named one of the year’s best dramatic podcasts of the year by The Guardian and The New York Times, and Podcast Business Journal’s own Joshua Dudley previously talked to Dryden about the first season for Forbes and how they recorded the lines and sounds on an iPhone to give it a fuzzy quality which adds to the realism and pulls you into the action.

“There was so much love for the first season of Passenger List," said Dryden. “It’s been a privilege to work again with Kelly and the incredible cast, and with the amazing Radiotopia team to bring the audience season two, which, I can reveal, will definitively answer the question everyone is asking: what happened to Flight 702?”

Lauren Shippen (The Bright Sessions) was a co-director of the first season and Dryden was quick to laud her writing and producing contributions to this season as well in a discussion online.

Listeners seeking deeper interaction may join The Investigation Discord server online, continuing the investigation that began over the course of season one via an email newsletter inviting audiences to solve the mystery of Flight 702.

The audio trailer for the new season is available now. New episodes of the eight-episode series will be released on Mondays from May 10 through June 21.
