ESPN says its podcasts set a new record in December with a unique audience of 6.9 million. That represents an increase of 43% over December 2018 and is the 12th consecutive month of year-over-year growth.
In addition, ESPN also says its podcasts were downloaded 40 million times, up 36% from December 2018. It was the third straight month with 40 million or more downloads.
The most popular podcasts in the ESPN stable are LeBatard and Friends podcasts, 30 for 30 and ESPN Daily.
