David Field, Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of the company now known as Audacy, says the new name reflects their vision for the future. ‘Audacy’ captures our dynamic creativity, outstanding content, and innovative spirit as we aspire to build the country’s best audio content and entertainment platform.”

Audacy made other announcements in the podcast space including:

  • An exclusive podcast partnership with singer Demi Lovato who will host her first-ever podcast with Cadence13, which will be produced by OBB Sound, the audio division of OBB Media, and SB Projects.
  • New original podcasts launching exclusively on Audacy’s app and a distribution partnership with The Rich Eisen Show.

Audacy previously acquired Cadence13, Pineapple Street Studios, and Podcorn which established itself as a major player in the podcast space.
