The show is called “Analysis of Murder," a new true crime podcast Dr. Phil will premiere April 25 with Stitcher. “_Analysis of Murde_r” is the second show Dr. Phil has premiered with Stitcher this year, as part of his ongoing partnership with the company to launch new shows throughout 2019.
The first season of the show focuses on the case of Gypsy Rose Blanchard, mastermind of the revenge killing of her abusive mother Dee Dee Blanchard, who suffered from a disorder known as Munchausen Syndrome by proxy. The events of this case have recently received attention with the release of Hulu’s “The Act.”
