Rogan said on his Friday show that he added 2 million subscribers despite a slew of controversies recently. Old tapes of Rogan using the ‘N’ word surfacing, and being accused of spreading disinformation about COVID had the mainstream media coming after the popular Spotify host.
Through it all, he said Friday, that it just made his show more popular and added to his listening base.
Rogan said he believed part of the reason why he grew was that CNN was coming after him and he doesn’t think anyone trusts the news network.
