The Gazette from Colorado Springs reports on an interactive podcasting adventure called The Bright Lights of Denver that combines traditional podcasting with an optional city-wide scavenger hunt! Denver listeners can visit real-world locations to get clues to unlock the story.

The four-part fictional true-crime podcast will launch on June 8 while they already have an active Facebook page, and will schedule two public Q and A’s for the event.

The Denver Center for the Performing Arts is sponsoring the event and Charlie Miller their curator created the event to try to lift people’s spirits out of the pandemic mindset. “I really wanted to use what limited resources we had this year to invest in the local arts community, and to lift up as many local artists as possible,” said Miller. “I was looking for new ideas and new ways of telling stories that put the audience at the center of the story.”
