Elfquest, a once-popular comic book from the ’80s that has maintained a fervent fanbase announced that original series creators Wendy and Richard Pini have launched a Kickstarter campaign to reimagine Elfquest as a full-length audio movie podcast.

There are a number of campaign rewards like digital streaming and early access, but the bonanza for fans is new signed cards of the original characters and die-cut 32mm sculptures.

Additionally “ten original ElfQuest covers” are available “as limited edition, archival-quality fine art prints” as free add-ons to “backers who are pledged for any physical reward level.”

The first physical reward appears to be a pledge of $50 or more for Signed Cards and an All-Access Pass.

Putting the “dud” in Dudley, there…. Elfquest has been popular since the beginning, with a large following worldwide. Your ”once popular” remark is seriously incorrect, for starters. Perhaps you should refrain from writing about things you know nothing about or take some time to research before publishing.

Thanks for writing Karin. I don’t think its incorrect to say that ElfQuest is not as popular as it once was while still maintaining a fervent but smaller audience base
