Mystery, murder, and politics collide in a new true-life podcast from Yahoo News called Conspiracyland. The series culminates a year-long investigation into the unsolved murder of Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich, premiering on the eve of the three-year anniversary of his death.
In the summer of 2016, Russian intelligence agents secretly planted a fake report claiming that Rich was gunned down by a squad of assassins working for Hillary Clinton, giving rise to a notorious conspiracy theory that captivated conservative activists and was later promoted from inside President Trump’s White House, the Yahoo News investigation has found.
