CBC Podcasts announced new details about its Spring 2021 podcast slate. They’re launching two new true-crime series in addition to their previously announced show A Death in Cryptoland investigating Gerald Cotten, CEO of Canada’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, QuadrigaCX.
The new true-crime series are The Next Call launching Wednesday, June 9 that tackles unsolved cases in a pandemic-restricted world, and the second season of The Village launching Wednesday, June 23 about two unexplained deaths in the transgender sex worker community.
Both new series will run for five episodes each.
