Drew Welborn is the new Vice President of Content Partnerships for the company. Welborn will oversee Stitcher’s partnership team and the process of working with its podcast partners, ranging from content publishers to talent. 

Armand Wilson is Anchor’s new Head of Content Partnerships. Armand joins Anchor after recently serving as the Product Marketing Manager for Kit, and spending six years with Royal Bank of Scotland before that. He’ll be working on getting new voices on the Anchor platform.

Voxnest has hired podcast producer and host Jonathan Zenti as Head of Content. Zenti is the founder of the Meeting of Independent Radio Producers and host and producer of the Meat podcast.

WOC Podcasters co-founder, and Podcast Business Journal editorial board member Danielle Desir, along with Zudiah Sarhan, have been invited to attend the 2019 Facebook Communities Summit at the Facebook HQ in Menlo Park, California, February 7-8.

Voice actress Julia Morizawa is joining the regular cast of Greater Boston. Greater Boston is a full-cast cast audio drama podcast set in Boston, blending factual history with a fantastical alternate reality. It's the third season for the show.

Peter Morris is the new CEO at PodcastOne. He will work under Executive Chairman Norm Pattiz. Morris was most recently EVP of Barstool Sports

Westwood One has recruited John Wordock for the newly created role of Executive Editor for Podcasting. He joins Westwood One from The Wall Street Journal, where he most recently served as Executive Producer for Podcasts

American Public Media has hired an editor for their APM Podcasts. Phyllis Fletcher comes from NPR where she has been the Northwest Bureau Chief. She will officially start with APM on March 11 and will continue to be based in Seattle.

Podcast hosting company ART19 has hired Korri Kolesa and Lex Friedman. Kolesa, formerly the Chief Revenue Officer at Stitcher, takes over as COO at ARrt19. Lex Friedman, formerly the Chief Business Development Officer at Stitcher, is joining as ART19’s Chief Revenue Officer.
