C13Features is a podcast feature studio focused on creating feature-length stories. Each C13Feature will be a fictionalized story podcast episode similar to a movie and will be 90-120 minutes long.
The company says the goal is to develop a new experience of storytelling to podcast listeners, while also creating an incubator for film and television.
Chris Corcoran, Chief Content Officer and founding partner of Cadence13 created and developed the concept for C13Features, and will serve as executive producer for all productions/features, and will lead the new studio. “As someone who studies and loves the idea of the blockbuster movie experience, from Jaws to Jurassic Park, combined with our collective love and passion for podcasts, C13Features sets out to capture the imagination in a bold new way for audio. The intention is to redefine the movie experience, inviting listeners to plug in their headphones and get lost in a wholly-original podcast movie.”
