Paperclip Ltd, the multimedia production company co-founded by Yeardley Smith and Ben Cornwell, announced they’ve optioned Tom Wood’s forensic science bestseller “Ruxton - The First Modern Murder” with plans to produce an unscripted serialized podcast based on the book.
The spin-off podcast joins Paperclip Ltd’s flagship true crime podcast Small Town Dicks, which brings in 1 million downloads per month. Following the ethos of Small Town Dicks, Ruxton - The First Modern Murder will detail a true crime told directly from the perspective of the Detectives who investigated the case. Yeardley Smith and Ben Cornwell will Executive Produce the podcast.
