YouTube has permanently banned conservative Dan Bongino. The Fox commentator, radio host and podcaster uploaded a video to his main channel while his secondary channel, which hosts short clips from his radio show, was suspended for what YouTube said was COVID-19 misinformation.
YouTube suspended one of Bongino’s YouTube channels on Jan. 20 after he posted a video where he questioned the effectiveness of using masks against the coronavirus, a violation of the company’s pandemic-related misinformation policy.
“When a channel receives a strike, it is against our Terms of Service to post content or use another channel to circumvent the suspension,” a YouTube spokesperson told The Hill.
Both of Bongino’s channels have been removed and he will not be able to create a new one in the future.
Bongino had nearly 1 million subscribers. He had already announced he was planning to move to Rumble.
