Univision and POPSUGAR, a digital lifestyle brand for women globally, are launching Juntos We Shine, a podcast showcasing the stories of remarkable men and women who are committed to making a difference in their communities. Each episode will be tied to themes from women in Hispanic Heritage Month and the December holidays, and will be available across all popular podcast apps, as well as www.univision.com/juntosweshine.
“POPSUGAR is excited to partner with a true category leader in Univision to create an authentic, inspirational, and results-driven partnership designed to surprise and delight readers, listeners, and watchers at scale,” said Geoff Schiller, Chief Revenue Officer at POPSUGAR.
This 16-episode series will premiere on August 12 and be hosted by Univision’s Andrea Chediak, fashion reporter for Univision’s Despierta América (Wake Up, America). The series is being produced by Marisa Venegas, a three-time Emmy Award-winning television executive producer, writer and multicultural media expert.
Here is the August release schedule:
• Episode 1 available Monday, August 12 Guest: Albania Rosario, a pioneer in the world of fashion, is founder and creator of Uptown Fashion Week, a fashion company highlighting designers from Latin America during New York City Fashion Week.
• Episode 2 available Monday, August 19 Guest: Kellie Ann Jurado is a presidential assistant professor of Microbiology at the University of Pennsylvania studying the effects deadly viruses such as Zika have on our nervous system in an effort to find a cure.
• Episode 3 available Monday, August 26 Guest: Lisa Aldridge is co-founder of The Beauty Board, a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting women and single mothers transitioning out of homelessness to looking and feeling their best before a job interview.
