Magellan AI posted their movers and shakers list in podcast advertising for March as BetterHelp, Comcast, and ZipRecruiter topped the list. They also looked closer at FanDuel, Ana Luisa (jewelry), and the lawn care service Sunday to see why they increased their podcast investing by so much.
Magellan AI says they use a proprietary model to estimate advertising spending that includes many factors such as:
- The number of ads and variation in ad load detected for a given episode
- Number of downloads for each episode
- CPM, as reported on select media kits and estimated based on popularity
