True crime podcast _The Lazarus Heist _is returning in 2023, per The BBC World Service. Season two will debut on March 27, with nine episodes releasing weekly.
The Peabody-nominated podcast follows the digital crimes of a secretive ring of elite North Korean hackers nicknamed “The Lazarus Group.” Season one followed the group’s alleged hacks on Sony Pictures Entertainment, the Bank of Bangladesh, and the WannaCry ransomware attack.
Hosts Jean Lee and Geoff White return to investigate claims that the Lazarus Group has connected with partners in crime around the world. The Lazarus Heist season two explores new cyber-heists targeting everything from ATMs to cryptocurrency businesses.
