It’s a big week in Orlando for Podcasters. Podfest kicks off Wednesday and our friends at Podfest want everyone attending to know what to expect and how to prepare. Here are a few tips to keep you focused on getting the most out of this event…

If you have business cards, bring lots of them! There will be a very unique networking session on Thursday evening, and it’ll be a good time to share business cards with each other (we recommend bringing at least 100). And if you do not have business cards, don’t worry - you’ll be able to scan each others badges and exchange info.
The show is in the HEART of touristy Orlando. Just 5 minutes away is Orlando Eye and Starflyer, as well as many more attractions. There are also 50 dining options within a 10 minute walk! Podfest usually scores a 10-15% discount to a few area restaurants for attendees, so be sure to bring your badge if you do dine out.
There is an official Podfest Expo app this year. It’s in the final stages of approval from Apple. As soon as we hear about the app approval we’ll post it in a future story.
On Wednesday… Registration is open from 4 - 7pm. It will re-open at 7am on Thursday, March 7th.
On Wednesday there is an Early Bird Marketing & Monetization single track learning session (no badge required) from 2 - 4:30pm.
If you’re an Elevate Mastermind member, they are meeting from 10:30am - 1pm for an informal catch-up session.
