The company tells PBJ that Acast Live will help podcasters take their shows live on stage.
The first slate of events is in partnership with a live events and ticketing app called DICE, launching an initial run of shows in late 2019 into 2020 taking place in venues across London.
Acast’s UK content director Sophie Herdman said: “Listening to podcasts is such an intimate activity, you feel like the hosts are your best friends so to suddenly see them on stage, surrounded by other like-minded friends, is such a brilliant experience.
