Acast announced they are launching Acast+ to support creators with a greater supply of monetization options like ad-free streams, exclusive content, and early access to paying subscribers.

Although it’s currently in beta, founding partners like Talking Politics in the UK, and Somna Med Henrik in Sweden have seen their monthly revenue increase by more than 20%.

Henrik Ståhl, host of Somna Med Henrik, said: “Apart from the obvious ability it creates for me to earn more money per listen to my podcast, it also lets me be closer to my listeners by offering private content specifically for them.”

Johan Billgren, co-founder of Acast, said: “With the introduction of Acast+ we’re giving our creators even more ways to connect with listeners, and to grow and monetize their shows, wherever those listeners are — supporting the open podcasting ecosystem and helping the whole industry continue to thrive.”

This announcement follows their previous collaboration with Patreon back in November.

Future updates will include membership tiers, dynamic promo messages, insights dashboards, etc. and interested parties can sign up here.
