Curiouscast Announces New Slate of Shows

Corus Entertainment’s podcast network**Curiouscast**, has announced its lineup of new and returning podcasts for fall. The lineup features three investigative podcasts including the award-winning Crime Beat (Season 3), and new shows 13 Hours: Inside the Nova Scotia Massacre and Whatever Happened To.

“I am so proud of the work that the Curiouscast and Global News teams have been doing together as we gear up for this fall with brand new programs,” said Chris “Dunner” Duncombe, Director of Streaming and Podcasting, Curiouscast/Corus Entertainment. “Our fall lineup of investigative shows affirms our commitment to producing high-quality podcasts with brand new voices and stories. The best news of all is we are just getting started on our full lineup for 2021.”

Curiouscast’s new and returning podcasts for fall include: The Super Awesome Science Show: The Science of Covid – Launched Sept. 28 Science made simple. Returning for Season 2, Jason Tetro explores the science behind Pandemics with the help of some of the brightest minds in science today. From vaccines to a potential second Wave of COVID-19, this podcasts covers pandemics from every angle in a way that we can all understand. New episodes weekly.

Crime Beat (Season 3) – Launching Oct. 20 Veteran Global News Crime Reporter Nancy Hixt embarks on Crime Beat’s third season as a podcast and its upcoming second season as a TV adaptation. Join Nancy as she shines light in dark places and gives a voice to the voiceless on this award-winning true crime podcast. Crime Beat is a 2020 Edward R Murrow International Podcast Winner and is nominated for a 2020 People Choice Podcast Award. New podcast episodes bi-weekly.

13 Hours: Inside the Nova Scotia Massacre – Launching Nov. 9 Canada’s worst massacre in modern history has left us with far more questions than answers.
