Leo Laporte is a podcasting pioneer. Back in April of 2005, Laporte and a few friends got together and started one of the original podcasts. Leo had no idea it would take off the way it did. This Week in Tech (TWiT) is one of the longest-running podcasts in the nation.

Here are the TWiT stats: 15 years 750 million downloads 1.11 million minutes of content 16,200 episodes

Now the TWiT.tv podcast network rocks 20 tech podcasts a week covering all aspects in this ever-changing field. The monthly audience, from all over the world, is now 4 million and the network has four fulltime hosts — Leo, Jason Howell, Mikah Sargent, and Ant Pruitt — and a staff of 20.

On Sunday, April 19, 2020, the original cast from the very first episode will return for a special anniversary episode of This Week in Tech (www.twit.tv/twit). That’s Kevin Rose (Digg, Revision3, TechTV), Patrick Norton (TechTV, Revision3), and Robert Heron (TechTV) with Leo Laporte.
